KDL Property Group has continued its strategy of embedding essential community infrastructure within its residential estates with the appointment of Peak Childcare & Kindergarten as the operator of a new childcare centre planned for Regent Quarter in Joyner.
KDL’s building division Ryse Construction will once again deliver the project.
KDL Managing Director Kent Leicester said the group was currently working through plans to include childcare centres in at least three of its future communities.
“Co-locating childcare centres within KDL residential estates creates strong social and economic outcomes for these communities while providing an essential service early in the life of each project,” he said.
“Childcare centres are a natural fit within our neighbourhoods, which generally have a high proportion of young families, and contribute to building a genuine sense of community.
“They also add long-term value to our estates by supporting walkability and reducing car trips by ensuring residents have access to the early learning services they need close to home.”
Peak Childcare & Kindergarten has centres in Flagstone and Redbank Plains with another also just opened in Morayfield. This latest centre will provide much-needed places within walking distance of hundreds of new homes.

Regent Quarter is a 325-lot community bordered by Regent and Oxford Streets in Joyner, with almost six hectares of open space and preserved natural bushland. Located near Lake Samsonvale, Joyner is close to a host of other local services, including schools, shopping, medical centres, recreational areas and public transport.
