Kent Leicester is the founder and Managing Director of KDL Property Group, growing the business from its launch in 2012 to a high-performing team delivering more than 400 residential lots annually across South East Queensland. With a background in finance and property development, Kent’s leadership combines strategic vision, operational excellence and a strong commitment to giving back to the community.
At KDL, Kent has built a reputation as an innovative industry leader, selecting and amalgamating sites that have delivered consistently strong results. He has been recognised in the AFR’s National Fast 100 list and is an active member of UDIA Queensland and its Logan Branch Committee. Kent remains hands-on in the day-to-day management of KDL’s $2 billion development pipeline.
KDL Chief Financial Officer Tony Stocks has more than 25 years of senior financial and strategic leadership experience across the construction and property sectors. Since his appointment as CFO in 2020, Tony has overseen all KDL financial operations, drawing on deep expertise in acquisition analysis, financing, accounting and taxation for large-scale land and construction projects.
Tony’s extensive career across leading Queensland private companies has equipped him with the skills to manage KDL’s financial structures, implement optimal funding strategies, and support the group’s successful delivery of major land development and home construction projects from inception to completion.
Barton Keenan brings 18 years of diverse property development experience to KDL, spanning roles in publicly listed companies and non-profit housing providers, and specialising in master planned community delivery, urban infill developments and sustainability initiatives. His work has been recognised with awards including the Urban Design Award for Architecture and the UDIA Environmental Sustainability Excellence Award. Barton has also contributed to the broader industry through committee roles with the Property Council of Australia and the UDIA (Gold Coast/Logan chapters).
Throughout his career, Barton has demonstrated a strong commitment to delivering sustainable, community-focused projects with high aesthetic and design standards. At KDL, he continues to drive the delivery of thriving, well-designed communities across Southeast Queensland.
