Luke Pearce joins Ryse Construction as Building Manager

25 February 2026

KDL Property Group has bolstered its building division Ryse Construction with the appointment of highly experienced industry leader Luke Pearce to the position of Building Manager.

Luke started his building journey on the tools and has held construction management roles for almost 20 years, most recently at Ausbuild.

He has deep experience in end-to-end construction delivery across Southeast Queensland, having managed projects from procurement and budgeting through to site execution and handover.

KDL Managing Director Kent Leicester said Luke’s appointment coincided with the start of an exciting new chapter for Ryse as its construction pipeline continued its rapid expansion.

“The next couple of years will be the busiest period yet for Ryse with hundreds of new homes in the pipeline, along with planned medium density projects and ongoing commercial construction activity in KDL communities,” he said.

Luke brings a proven track record in leading large construction teams and delivering high volumes of homes while maintaining strong safety, quality and commercial outcomes. In his most recent role, he oversaw more than 600 homes per year across SEQ, managing multiple construction managers and site supervisors.

His career also includes senior leadership roles with Porter Davis Homes and Devine, where he was responsible for establishing construction operations in new markets, delivering award-winning display homes and managing townhouse and medium-density projects.

Kent said Luke’s experience in building high-performing teams and implementing disciplined construction systems would play a critical role as Ryse scales its delivery capability.

“Luke understands what it takes to build at volume without compromising quality, and he brings the leadership and operational rigour needed to support our vertically integrated model,” he said.

Luke said he was attracted to Ryse by the opportunity to work within a fully integrated land development and construction platform.

“Ryse has a clear pipeline, strong backing from KDL and a genuine focus on building quality communities,” he said. “I’m looking forward to working with the team to strengthen systems, support our supervisors and deliver homes our partners can be proud of.”
