KDL is pleased to announce that Development Director Barton Keenan has been appointed to the UDIA Queensland‘s Moreton Bay Branch Committee.
With several current and future projects in the region, the appointment is a great opportunity to work with other industry leaders in advocating for continued growth and a prosperous future for the City of Moreton Bay.
It continues a long tradition of KDL involvement in key industry groups. KDL Managing Director Kent Leicester has been an active member of the UDIA’s Logan Branch committee for more than four years.
Barton has also been a strong contributor to the property sector through previous committee roles with the UDIA and Property Industry Council of Australia. He recently marked four years at KDL.
Prior to joining KDL, Barton worked for a range of major developers and engineering companies, honing his ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. He is also a former student of The Southport School, an institution proudly supported by KDL’s community program.
Barton’s expertise lies in the delivery of large-scale, master planned communities as well as complex urban infill projects. His passion for placemaking and sustainable design has been recognised with industry accolades including the Urban Design Award for Architecture and the UDIA Environmental Sustainability Excellence Award.
These honours reflect his commitment to creating enduring, people-centred places that balance environmental responsibility with liveability.
Congratulations Barton!
